The memories of Stradey still live on and now you can all see the great feat at the ground, now never to be played on again!

The Mighty Blues will forever be in the memory of that historic ground and took home the last piece of silverware to appear at the ground!

Episode 8 - Season 1 Finale! - Part 1

Well, the public have finally had their way! With many a text and email demanding the pulic showing of Ystrad RFC's flagship show season finale, the men upstairs fnally caved!

Initially shown to the exclusive audience at the Ystrad RFC Player of the Year Awards dinner and the end of last season, the final episode has never been seen outside the club...today, that changes.

With the Mighty Blues not enjoying the same success as last year, so far in Division 4 South West, the people in charge of Blue Velvet felt it was time to give the Blue Army something to cheer about once again.

So, thanks to the great support and success of series one, here is Part 1 of the Season Finale of the first series for you all to enjoy.

All that remains to be said is...will there be another series?

Ystrad RFC Goes To Hollywood - Fundraiser Campaign Video

After the huge success of last years 'Give Kip A Chance' campaign, Ystrad RFC has agin teamed up with YstradTV to produce another fundraising campagin video for this years campaing to raise money for Morriston Hospital's ITU & Renal Unit, Cardigan Ward.

There will be a fundraiser disco at Ystrad RFC (Strictly Over 18's, ID will be asked for) this Saturday, April 19th, with all money raised to go to the Morriston Ward.

The theme of the disco, Ystrad Goes To The Movies, with people dressing up from their favourite films or TV shows.

With that in mind, here's a montage of clips from a few films...

Episode 7

Here it is, Episode 7 of the pioneering first season of Blue Velvet!

Runmours continue to circulate about the show being nominated for a BAFTA, but until then, the show goes on in true 'velvet' fashion!

Episode 6

Finally, the long overdue 6th edition is here!

A lot has happened since last time, we are now Grand Slam Champions, The Mighty Blues appeared on BBC's flagship rugby show, Scrum V, most held the 6 Nations Trophy, Cardiff are in the semi finals of the FA Cup, a Welsh girl is number one in the charts (Duffy) and god knows what else has happened!

After the big stand off between writers and creators, the strike has ended and filming resumed last week!

So sit back and enjoy another reason to be thankful you're Welsh!

Episode 5

Sorry Velvet fans for another late episode this week! It's been a busy one with work, being daddy and the commitment of going to Cardiff on Saturday and the resulting hangover on Sunday!

Anyway, they say good things come to those who wait so enjoy!
